Ontario Horse Racing

Horse racing is an adventurous sport. It has been taking place for hundreds of years in Ontario. It entertains the locals with great enthusiasm, excitement, glory and delivers a thrilling experience to the audience. In 1793, the first casual horse races took place in Toronto Island. The government is taking efforts to grow the horse racing industry and has introduced Horse Racing Partnership Funding Program (HRPFP) to support and encourage it. The industry plays prominent role in social and economic life in Ontario.
