Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association

Based in Ontario and established over 160 years ago, the Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Growers’ Association (OFVGA) represents the interests of the province’s fruit and vegetable farmers. The organization advocates on behalf of more than 3,500 family farms that grow over 125 different crops across 245,000 acres. OFVGA supports farmers by addressing key issues such as sustainability, food production, and farm labour, while also promoting local produce through initiatives like the Fresh from the Farm program. Their work helps ensure a strong, sustainable, and competitive fruit and vegetable sector in Ontario.
