Maple Leaves Forever

Maple Leaves Forever (MLF), located in Toronto, Ontario is an organization that involves planting Native Canadian Maples in growing numbers all over rural and urban areas of southern Ontario. The founder of the organization is Ken Jewett. It undertakes the planting activity by gathering interested people with its affiliated nurseries which grows the trees. People can plant these trees on certain areas like roadsides, lane ways, property boundaries spaces, and hedgerows in rural Ontario only. They provide guidance regarding the planting process and the care of growing trees. The purpose behind planting maple trees is that it symbolizes national pride and identity, giving off aesthetic beauty, controls soil and water erosion.
