Junior Farmers Association of Ontario

Founded in 1944 in Guelph, Ontario, the Junior Farmers’ Association of Ontario (JFAO) is a non-profit organization that empowers rural youth through leadership development and community engagement. JFAO offers programs for individuals aged 15–29, including leadership camps, international exchanges, and agricultural competitions that help young farmers grow personally and professionally. The organization also supports initiatives like the Ontario Century Farm Sign program, recognizing farms that have been in continuous operation for over 100 years. With a strong network of local clubs, JFAO builds future leaders who are passionate about agriculture and rural life.
