Cordex

Cordex was incorporated in Portugal on October 11, 1969. It started with a small company named SOFIOS, a producer of cotton packing twines and other fibres. Till date the company Cordex is known for production of agricultural sisal twine. Therefor it continued to enlarge their product line on industrial string applications and started manufacturing multifilament using two state of the art advanced lines. It has been producing high tenacity poly steel which has led to the production of high tech yarns used in the telecommunications industry making a significant impact on Cordex as internet has rapidly became such an important tool.
