Canadian Cattle Identification Agency

Canadian Cattle Identification Agency is a non-profit, organization established to promote and protect animal health and food safety concerns in the Canadian cattle herd. It is situated in the city of Calgary, Alberta. The Canadian Cattle Identification Agency traces the first location of the animal (the herd of origin) and last location of the animal (usually the packing plant) to protect the integrity fo the beef industry.
