Alberta Elk Commission

The Alberta Elk Commission, founded in 1988 and based in Leduc, Alberta, represents over 110 elk farmers managing more than 8,000 domesticated elk. It supports producers by promoting sustainable elk ranching practices and advocating for the economic and environmental benefits of elk products. Farmers benefit from the Commission’s educational resources, marketing support, and industry development initiatives. Through its efforts, the AEC helps strengthen Alberta’s elk industry and connect producers with local and international markets.
